If I were you, I would book an appointment with one...even if it's 4-5 month wait. And in the mean time keep searching. Also, ask to be put on a cancellation list...you could get in sooner.

You can go to The Lyme Disease Association and search for LLMD's 3 times in a month. You have to register first. Here is the link:

The other option you have is using an alternative protocol, either in place of the abx or until you can get in to see a LLMD. Many here have used herbs only and have healed, some of healed using other forms of treatment.

TP-I'm in San Jose. I can give you Dr information and feedback.

I do know that most of the qualified LLMD/ND's do have at least a 4 month wait time for a first appointment. I know of someone who recently got a first appointment within three weeks. I assume that she lucked into a cancellation. Ask to be put on the cancellation list. Hopefully that will get you in sooner.

In the mean time I would start your kids on a very gentle herbal protocol. There are members here who can assist you with what herbs you should use. There are also support groups for parents whose children have Lyme. We can assist you in finding a few of those or members of this board who are treating their kids so you can communicate with them.
