Original Lyme - 07/15/2016 (approx 1 - 1.5 month into infection)

IGM ab- Positive

IGM 23,41 reactive

IGG AB - Negative

IGG 41, 66 - Reactive

Lyme test taken 9/01/16


IGM ab - negative

23,39,51 - non reactive

IGG AB - negative

41 - reactive

***Note I dropped IGM AB as well as reactivity to bands 23 and 41.

On the IGG side I dropped 66 band?

What does this mean?

2- mycoplasma pneumoniae antibody - >5.0 (H) * ref ranges >=1.10 positive.

So am I positive for mycoplasma?

I'll answer the easy question first - LOL! Yes, you have tested positive for Mycoplasma.

As for your Lyme tests, the positive bands will change around because Lyme bacteria is unique in that it can change it's outer surface proteins as needed in order to evade being attacked. This is why these tests are not only very sensitive, but are not useful to repeat.

I hate to have more crap in me, but I would say testing positive for mycoplasma was worth the re-test. At least we can start addressing this now.

Thanks for the responses guys! Man, "happy hunting" sure put a smile on my face. Can't wait to kick Mycoplasma's BUTT!

Is mycoplasma associated with lightheadedness/Dizzyness (less the balance and coordination issues)?

Bart and Babs were both negative again, not that it means anything.
