Anyone else suffer from intracranial pressure? I've been telling my medical professionals for over a year that this was happening but it was always ignored. In March it became severe every time I sat down. It was better when I laid down. I had an epidural in my c-spine in June and now the pressure won't even go away when I'm laying down. Lots of increased issues.
I'm waiting for my IGeneX kit to arrive so no positive test yet but with the lengthy list of matching symptoms I'll be shocked if it isn't Lyme. This is one of the symptoms that really has me convinced.

One of my symptoms has been the feeling of pressure in my head behind my eyes.
It hasn't been tested, confirmed by any Dr.'s. though.
What worked for me last summer was treating Lyme/Bart with mino and Rifampin.
I am attributing mino's good penetration of the b/b barrier to my head pressure resolving.
Unfortunately, it has come back - not as bad though...and I am back on the minocycline.
Have you talked to the Dr. about
the worsening of the symptoms since the epidural?
I hope the Igenex testing provides you with the answers you need....

Thank you for the information. I have pressure behind my eyes too. They are two different types of pain for me. :/

There are lots of scientific articles showing intercranial pressure being connected to Lyme. Here are a few:
www.neurology.org/content/84/14_Supplement/P1.310
www.columbia-lyme.org/patients/ld_lyme_symptoms.html
onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/ene.12420/abstract
I've suffered from this as well, so I hope that it gets resolved for you quickly!

The fact that you had an epidural and also felt better laying down indicates low CSF pressure (a CSF leak), not high pressure.

I'm pretty sure thats a bart symptom. My friend and twin had it real bad and has improved significantly for both of them after treating bart with antibiotics

Mustard Seed,
I can't figure out how to reply to your post from almost two years ago. Hopefully you get this message and I'm not breaking any rules.
You saved my life! I had/have a CSF Leak. I had two blind blood patches in 2017 that immensely helped the pressure in my head. I'm still dealing with chronic pain but the video you shared felt like the doctor was speaking directly to me.
Thank you SO much!

misdiagnosed - if mustard Seed subscribed to this thread, then he will get notified that there is a new post on it.
IF he didn't, then he may not be around to see the post.
So, are you treating lyme disease? or is there something else explaining your chronic pain?

What prompted the testing? Symptoms you had?

Hi Girlie,
I haven't been to a lyme literate doctor. IGenex test was negative twice but I'm not convinced that I don't have lyme but I definitely have a spinal fluid leak. Two blood patches confirmed CSF leak but I'm still dealing with awful pain.
Thank you for the note about
Mustard Seed.

Yes
I know about
this, it can get better
Some antibiotics get past the blood brain barrier.
Change your diet, just a little bit of wheat and sugar can set me off.
take as many natural antibiotics/anti inflammatorys as you can, fire cider is excellent.
