I started Sida acuta last week, and I am going slowly. However, I got severe insomnia. Last night I coudn't sleep till 6AM! And the night before till 5AM. Do you think this is provoked by Sida. or it is impossible? perhaps by stress (these days I am under a lot of pressure due to family matters)? Should I cease Sida?

what did you start with?
Could be herbal, but keep going (slow) and see if it improves. I was taking something new (I think it was eleuthero) and couldn't sleep until 3AM, but the following nights it got better.
Are you taking melotonin?

BBM - how much are you taking?
I think the way to find out - is stop it for a day or two and see if you can get to sleep.

Found this link of someone else reporting insomnia - Buhner's site.

I had no sleep issues on it. Took 3/4 dropper 3x a day until I worked through the bottle. Then moved on to using artemesian which I am pulsing now for babesia.

Sida made my heart flutter and I could not take it. We are all so different and you have to see how your body likes it. Give it a good chance and then if it doesn't work, move on.

I too would ask what dose you are using, and how many times a day you started out with. Just to double check.

Some people really don't do well with Sida. I would either stop or reduce the amount to see if you notice any improvement.

Sida messed with my sleep but only because it provoked massive neurological herxes. Reducing the dose I had no issue

I started with one drop, and slowly increasing.
I stopped using it, I will give my body few days rest and then start again. Hopefully I will be able to take it, as I read so many positive reviews.
thanks all

Remember, the stress will have quite an impact on everything, so take it slow and make sure you are detoxing lots and well.

Thank you Traveler. I hope this family issue will soon be resolved, stress is awful.

It was stress alone for (2 years) that brought my adrenals crashing down, so I agree.
I too hope your family stress lowers soon!!
