HELP NEEDED in diagnosis - test results

Hi,

I'm really struggeling with whats wrong with me, been tested for pretty much everything there is (CMV, EPV, Lymphoma, bacterial infection, blodd tests, Ricktesia i.e).
The only thing that has come back positive is a Chikungunya virus test that indicates that I had it in the past 6 months.
Also got some Lyme tests back yesterday, which were made through a lab in Germany, but I have no one who can help me interperate them. Here in sweden these tests is very discussed.
And we dont really have any Lyme specialits here either.

The virus that I tested positve can last for long, however the symptoms doesnt really add up with how Im feeling.
Will post the Lyme results for the CD57, Elispott LTT and Western Blot in the end of the post below.

Would be eternally grateful if someone could give me a help on the way if this is/or could be an ongoing Lyme which should be treated with antibiotics (which they dont prescribe for more then 14 days here in sweden).

Symptoms/Story:

Travelled to the Phillipines in January 16, woke up one night with a really high fever, headache adn swollen lympnode in my right axilla. The pain under my axilla lasted for about 3 weeks and the fever went away after a couple of days. Then after feeling "well" for about a week I got a sinus and throat infection in the end of february. The sinus infection went away after about 2 weeks but the throat lasted and I still have problems with it. In the middle of march I started having high fever again which lasted for about a week. During this period (about 14 days in february I got antibiotics from the doctors in the Phillipines - which didnt really help att all).
about now (end of march) I started having pain in my right wrist (beside the general flu feeling which I still have - but not as much as earlier). The pain was a "burning pain" which came and went. Didnt think to much about this at the time but then it spread to my other wrist and hands. And then after about 2 more months (May) it spread to my ankels, knees, shins and kept going randomly during a couple of months. As of now I also started having muscle twitches in my calves when I was in rest.
I also started to become super tired all the time and having insomnia problems and waking up in the middle of the night. And this is were I am right now (about 7-8 months later).
Its really frustrating that the doctors keep on saying that its due to the virus, but the symtpms doesnt really add up. I understand that I have had it, but it feels like its more to it.

Here in sweden they did an Elisa test for lyme which came back neg, the also did a lumbar punction testing för lyme which came back neg.

But then I did these tests through the lab in germany which indicated a low number of Lyme, but is this that I had it in my early years or is it active, can you say anything about that from my tests?
I really want to know this so I know if I should get antibiotics abroad or not. I've done a change of diet lately trying to "treat" it and also is taking herbs (Astralagus, Cats claw, Reservatrol, C-vitamin).

The CD57-cell-count indicates borderline chronic immune suppression, which can be caused by Borrelia
burgdorferi or other bacteria like Chlamydia/Mycoplasma pneumoniae.
Low numbers of the CD3+T-cells can be seen in viral infections with EBV, CMV, HSV 1/2, VZV, Coxsackie-Virus.

Something you need to be aware of is that these infections are passed by much more than just ticks - mosquitoes, mites, and many other 'biting' insects can now pass these infections as well.

You need to be evaluated by a Lyme Literate doctor. It's really quite common for these tests to come back negative, yet still have these infections because the testing is not very sensitive.

And yes, it certainly does sound like you could have these infections.

The problem is they have to admit that Lyme is an issue, which many countries still don't. If the doctor refuses to diagnose or treat Lyme, then they are left in the same situation - searching for help from a Lyme literate doctor, or going on their own to treat.

I understand that testa aren't acurate. But the results from mine says something about that: "The results of the EliSpot-Tests are an indication for a weak current cellular activity against Borrelia burgdorferi."
Can that be an active infection that is healing right now?

i'm not familiar with the Elispot - but doesn't that mean you are positive for Borelia?

Your result is +2 and the range is < 2

But I had antibiotics treatment during february/march for about 3 weeks, Ciprofloaxin.

You were under treated with the 3 weeks of abx. - especially since you said they didn't help at all.
