Lyme eye floaters anyone? Also waiting for test results...

I am fairly new to all of this and haven't been on the forum for a few weeks as I got a little discouraged here for a while. During the summer I got tested for lyme disease through my GP using the western blot method, not surprisingly it came back negative. I also got tested through an LLMD with bio meridian testing (am also not sure about the validity of this method), according to her computer I tested positive for borrelia and bartonella.

Last week on Wednesday I did the Ispot Lyme test and this week on Monday I did a test through Pharmesan Labs to test for co-infections. So now I am just waiting on results, which apparently take approx. 2-3 weeks.

Aside from all of that, I've had eye floaters for quite a while, maybe about 5 years. I struggle a lot with DP/DR so I've never really paid close attention to the floaters, just dismissed them and always described to doctors that it looks like tv static. However, last week I really concentrated on the floaters (sounds a little silly) and I noticed that they look like little worms!!! Some even look like clusters of them wrapped around eachother! I got on "Dr. Google" and to my surprise when I googled Lyme eye floaters I actually found an image that looked identical to what I was seeing!!!

I'm not sure what to think about all of this. Let me know your thoughts confused :-)

K-95 - I get those on a daily basis- sometimes "they" are more active than other times. I just saw an eye doc last week because I was getting a lot more peripheral flashes, sparks too more than usual and my vision seems like it is "shaking" along with all those floaters and squiggly type lines in my field of vision. The doc said that the floaters are this vitreous gel in the eye that shrinks and becomes "stringy" and as that happens the "image" bounces onto the retina and that is what we see=the weirdo looking floaters.....I probably didn't describe it properly, but apparently it is common- even to people who do not have lyme. Don't freak out - it is not the actual Lyme bacteria = they are way too small for the eye to see. Just my 2 cents.

I do agree that it is a little freaky to see those things in your vision though! I've had a lot of different shapes of floaters, but they have really slowed down a lot, fortunately.

I'm still on the fence about this though.. They may very well be what needhelp4 mentioned and I am not trying to discount that at all. But imagine if the floaters were the Lyme. I'm not sure if that would freak me out or not but it could be a good measure in seeing if and how it is all clearing up.

As you heal, you will see less floaters, but that's not because of a lack of bacteria in the eye, it's because of the improved health - but I do understand the desire to keep an open mind about it.
