Diflucan anyone?

I asked my doc for nystatin due to being bloated a lot. He called in diflucan instead. Bottle says 100 mg once per day. Theres 10 pills. Does this seem right?

I just took one and then googled, worst thing in the world for me to do!....lol. Geez my anxiety kicked up a notch, and it seems youre not supposed to take diflucan with xanax, so I had to calm myself some.

This stuff isnt gonna screw me up is it?

It kills yeast systemically..can be hard on liver ..it may have affect on lyme as it stops the efflux pump...it is a flouride drug and has a long half life ..you can pulse but piro says hit it hard ..at least its not ketoconazole ..i thought i had coccliodes once maybe i do...i think you will be ok ..use milk thistle or dandylion to protect ..glutithione

My LLMD gave 150mg pills once every 3 days. Isn't that too little??

Thanks. Yes, I read the new the lyme section, but was hoping for more info from those who use(d) it. I read diflucan inhibits enzymes that knotweed uses...so, I stopped taking knotweed for now.

Everthing is metabolized by cytochrome p450...the 3 day pulse is ok as it stays in system long time ..its conservative but liver does a lot of work for us
