why lyme suddenly flare up during early 20 years?

many patients i see only age between 20-25.any relation between age and dieses.? i think due to away from home because of study,job etc.i migrate from home due to college. i was very excited about getting good job and earn money after gradutation.but in last semester of graduation i got fever and then never good again.i decided to not to go away from my home any condition because poor hygine at hostel give me dieses.what do you think.

I have met people of all ages, from meeting the parents of the very young, to meeting those much older (in their 50's & 60's) that are battling these infections.

College can mean a lot of stress though, and stress will bring out more symptoms of these infections no matter what a person's age. Since it's that age group (20 - 25) who is mostly who you'll come in contact with at most colleges has a lot to do with what you are seeing.

Hi abhi - lyme doesn't discriminate - I think it will hit you hard no matter what age you are. If your immune system becomes weakened, and hard work at school will do that as Traveler mentioned, then the critters in hiding will of course come out and take over. It's just like everything else---opportunistic. Guard (immune system) goes down and it's a field of opportunity. That's why we have to get our immune systems up and robust.
