It's me again....Sorry! I have where if I move my arms I feel all of the nerve endings. I have nerve pain going up the back of my neck. I swallow and can feel all of the nerve endings as the water goes down my throat. Does anyone else have this? It is scary. I'm afraid that I am getting to where I was years ago.

yes. I have a lot of nerve pain.

Out of all my 30 + symptoms, it's been the worst .


When I used to swallow, it felt like my throat was burning...all the way down to my chest area...almost felt like it was scraping my insides.


That's gotten better...

But I still have nerve pain in my back...horrible...sorry you have nerve pain, too.

Thank you for responding. It has come back along with a very sore throat. I have been having a very tough week. Haven't had this kind of flare up in years. My rheum. said I could go back on Methotraxate, but I'm afraid that seeing that is a chemo med that that is possible why I had this flare up because it suppresses your immune system.

No steroids ever ...no chemo no floroquinalones ...no plaquinil..it all suppresses your immune ...ask why is my immune sx fighting _______? If its thyriod hashi if it nerves ms if brain als ...its all the bugs ...mycoplasm ,bartonella ,toxoplasmosis ,borrelia and cpn ...take the amoxi ..get some cats claw ..and gabapentin ifbyou have too..sell the farm learn while you can ..watch under our skin

Methotraxate is an immunosuppressant and most of the time lyme does not do well with those types of drugs.

So sorry this has happened.

I am sure you have tried all the "natural" things for RA, fish oil, borage oil, turmeric, boswellia and ginger. Those are good RA alternative treatments.

Also, Methotraxate is very hard on your liver so make sure you are doing good things for your liver if you continue doing it. And always check to make sure that meds/herbs mix well with metho before taking. I'm not even sure about the alternatives I listed mixing with metho.

A call into your LLMD is highly recommended by me.

immia, I just wanted to add another natural treatment to what PeteZa suggested.

I don't have the throat nerve pain other than feeling like things are stuck in my throat and this has not helped with that. But I have had terrible nerve pain in my arm and my feet. What seems to really help with that is Sida Acuta. I ran out of it awhile back and within a week the nerve pain was back so I am confident that it helps.

Sad to hear you are going through this :-(

The other thing you have to understand is that you are not in an effective treatment yet - Amox alone isn't enough. Have you seen or do you have an appt with a LLMD yet?
