Here's an early entry: Epoch Times: How did you get involved treating Lyme disease?

Dr. Ann Corson: My son was dying and no one could tell me why. I couldn’t figure it out. I took him to a lot of other doctors and they tried to give all these kinds of medicines which were actually poisonous, or they would tell me that it was all in his head.

I remember my son had had a deer tick bite. He came to me and I took it off, but he never had a rash. He had no symptoms as first, but then he became insidiously sick. I thought about Lyme disease, but I had done the ELISA test three times and it was negative.

Then I went to see a lecture by Dr. Joseph Burrascano. He is the first doctor to really figure this whole thing out. I learned more in that lecture than in the prior 10 years of my medical career. He opened a whole new door for me about tick borne diseases.

It's wonderful, in spite of the unhappy circumstances, to read a Medical Doctor validating everything we already believe.

You're all welcome. I was typing something earlier today in here that got swept away when my computer froze and I had to reboot. I've mostly forgotten what it was but I think it had something to do with the part Peteza quoted from the article.

It completely sums up my 30 years of Lyme. 29 of those years I believed the Dr's telling me I had other things wrong with me. I always wondered if I'd ever feel normal, like my old self again. Even when I had periods of good functioning, I still didn't quite feel right. I always had repercussions from too much physical activity. I still had free floating panic attacks, reactive hypertension and pain. Always the pain.

Only in the past year and a half did I believe I was dying.

I know now that I cannot hope to feel like the person I was before the year I turned 34. My goal is simply to be functional.

Today was the best I've had in quite a while. I woke up in a panic attack, body vibrating and all over headache but before I'd opened my eyes something snapped off like a light switch in my body and the vibrating, headache and panic stopped, all of the sudden. I have taken a couple halfs of one pain pill throughout the day for my back and shoulder so that I could keep working. My oxygen capacity is still taxed, but if I keep feeling like I do now, I should be able to strengthen my stamina and lungs!

I cannot attribute this to abx or herbals, and only minor detoxing. So.....I better go write this down, because this could be the cycling of the bugs and I am seeing the importance of knowing what my Lyme cycle is.

That's exactly what I was thinking Traveler. That and keep reminding myself what I believe helped me get to this point today and keep doing it.

I just thought of something. If two or more infected women were to live together, I wonder if their Lyme cycles would begin to track at the same time!
