Are Lyme Herb Tinctures Still Usable After Sitting In Metal Mailbox at 110 Degrees All Day?

This may be a dumb question but at $164.20 with shipping I am afraid I just paid for an order that will end up in the trash? My products ordered are shown below in case it matters WHAT was exposed to extreme heat. I can't believe it was shipped in a way that let it be placed in a "Community Mailbox" that sits in full Sunlight on an open street corner over hot black asphalt all day....As I am not able to stand much less walk, I had to wait for my wife to get home to get the package that I didn't even know had arrived. NOW I have a REALLY sick feeling. Just don't expect anyone is going to tell me this is now not tainted. And I am sure the store will tell me tough luck. Just break it to me gently if I am out of luck on this.

I was a delivery person and the back of my vehicle (I put a thermometer back there) where the packages were, would reach 140 degrees. I was amazed that chocolate could survive.

Anyway, call the distributor and ask them what they think. Good customer service is coming back. It has too, there are too many alternatives.

Thanks and I DID fire off an email to Sage asking if I was OK or not so will hopefully hear tomorrow. And I DID order the smaller bottles Tincture on my foirst order but went biggest on this to save. My luck is today she finally answered me and though NOT listed anywhere on here website that I could find she DOES say she can sell me all of the 3 items above in powder to save me $$$. I guess I need to shop for some kind if pill making machine but not sure if my hands and arms work well enough to make one BILLION pills I guess now I also need to find out what size capsules I need too. Man, this stuff just never get easier does it?

I think I will just mix the powder for all but the andrographis in water and guzzle down. But the andrographis is WAY too NASTY tasting for me to drink. I bought 1 bottle of pills of that herb from Amazon to test and am doing fine with it so added it 4 days ago as well to the 3 herbs above.

Mike-what area are you in? Maybe someone who is farther along than you are in treatment lives near you and would be happy to help put the powder in to capsules for you. It was 103 where I live so you could be close to me in the Bay Area. I'd be happy to help. If I'm not close see if there is a Lyme support group in your area. A lot of them have facebook groups so you can search on FB.

Sage Herbs emailed me back and says "Hi Mike – I wouldn’t worry about damage to the tinctures from the heat. The internal temp of the tinctures did not reach 110 degrees, that was the ambient air anyway. But we actually make glycerites from tinctures by simmering them down to 1/5 of their volume, much more heat than is applied in a mailbox. You’re still good. No worries. ;)"

So while I can't imagine they are NOT damaged I take her at her word since I certainly have no way to know. It sounds to my dumb old ears that they manufacture these tinctures by using heat by "simmering" on some kind of stovetop or similar? No idea but just happy to hear I am not out $165.00 and change and now will begin to look for someplace to buy a pill (capsules) making machine and figure out what SIZE capsules I need etc. God help me I am afraid my living room and recliner (where I live) will be covered in cat's claw and my wife will walk in from work and think it was snowing inside when she was gone....
