If all it is true....and I think what you say it is, and in reference to my other post....why didn't my LLMD treated me with 2 abx the very first time? Why he did not say about the short life of amoxy......did he think my lyme was treatable just with that?
Sometimes we can 'tread lightly' and have a discussion. I have 'wangled' a certain antibiotic that I wanted from my LLND. He is easy-going, though, and that helps. He knows I have been researching and have educated myself.
Not all LLMD's are good. It's like all occupations. There are good lawyers and bad. Good surgeons, and bad...etc.
Also, to be an ILADS member - I think you just need to go to one conference and register. They may never go to another one again. There isn't a test to see if they know their stuff.
