Aww, there is nothing better than a new 'do!! :D Even when your insides feel like you've been abducted by aliens, I think when your outsides looks nice it can sure make you feel better.
@Girlie-
I too have issues about using chemical hair dyes. And go back and forth about it. Especially with toxic burden we Lymies have. But now I live abroad and the prices are INSANE. So I am reconsidering doing henna again that I used to do a few years ago.
So to be clear, I am not talking about the store bought henna in a box which is full of nasty salts, etc. This is the henna that any hairdresser has learned about and will tell you to never do.
But, Body art quality henna is a whole other amazing world! Here's a link to the site below . If you have a spare 5 hours and no Lyme brain it is a fascinating site! LOL! The owner actually has a Ph.D. ( or dissertation) in henna. When I was using this, it was amazing!!! My hair was a gorgeous virbrant red. But I have blonde hair and look better that way. Blonde henna doesn't really exist except if you were blond and now grey, because it can't lift color. The cool thing is you can play with colors and make your own mix of reds, browns, blacks. I think I might just start doing the Cassia(neutral or blonde) just to cover my greys. But cassia is a great conditioner too. Anyway, it takes a bit of practice but it's really amazing... and totally chemical free;)
