I was at a health fair yesterday and one of the vendors was hawking a pain cream.
I could not find any ingredients on the labels, or any on the literature on the table, so I asked her if she had them and she said "no". She tried to distract me with it's versatility and uses but she couldn't tell me what was in it.
I think people in our position need to be informed of both active and inactive ingredients, some think that just because it's touted herbal, doesn't mean it can't interfere with whatever else we're taking, or our current health issues.
I used to be so nonchalant about
these kinds of things, but I can't these days. I never would have thought that just eating certain foods, or a regular meal could have such a dramatically bad reaction with me.
Of course so says the girl with a prescript
ion of low dose percocet at her disposal. I don't even feel comfortable relying on it very much.
I was shocked by how many of the prescribed medications I'd been getting and taking were actually preventing my body from doing the jobs these pills were supposed to be helping.
