Thank you, this is what I had also read.
RE: emotionally/spiritually, I mean that while all the "natural" interventions so far have been able to limit my physical symptoms, I still remain quite emotionally and spiritually detached/numb – i.e. not excited, happy, joyful, funny – which is a very strange and rare condition for me, considering these emotions have always been natural to me. I've not yet found any way to help with this.
This is normal and part of the disease. Brain fog, anxiety, depression, ..... all symptoms.
What is sad is that you feel you have a grasp on what your symptoms are and boom! along comes one you have never had before. It will cause you to worry if you have gotten something else.
Lyme made me paranoid as heck. Just go with your gut feelings. That's what I did. If I was really concerned, I always went and got it checked out even further.
Be very good to your body as it tries to heal. Give it good stuff and you also need to give your mind good stuff.
It will be a slow journey to health, but you can do this. Patience is super important. And because you are unique, as we all are, you will probably have your own unique remedy. And the way you find what works for you will be trial and error. That is how most of us are progressing.
Keep asking questions. Lots of super information on this forum.
