Um, oh yeah, that's what herxing is again!

So I have been off all antimicrobials for a few months because I was having major gut issues from SIBO and lost a lot of weight. So LLMD decided to work on that first.
Things have been going well in that area which I am so thankful for. :)

I nonchalantly added olive leaf a couple weeks ago because everyone and their uncle is sick around me and I thought it would be good for general immune support.

Apparently sometimes I forget I have Lyme(how is that even possible except for maybe Lyme brain??) I have been gradually getting sicker and sicker and the past 3 days I felt like I did when I was heavy hitting with ABX. Could not figure out why. Like totally back to square one; on the bed barely able to even move. No pain pill or sleeping med was touching this thing. All my little Lyme skin bumps are back too. Haven't seen those in a year. And the Lyme neck too which is my fave!

And the kicker is I am not at home so I don't have all my "stuff ". You know: heat packs, ice packs, pain creams, teas, tinctures, detox items, herxing clothes/shoes( i.e. jammies and Birkenstocks), EO's, special pillows; our comfort stuff! My hubby is traveling for work and I can't live alone so I had to go with him. At least there is a sauna at the hotel. Bonus.

So, moral of the story is: Olive Leaf is knock-you-down powerful!!! I had no idea.

Drink lots of good water.... so sorry you aren't in your comfy place with a herx.

Thanks for the kind words! :) The sauna and buckets of water seem to be helping. I forgot about the full moon!!!

@ Traveler- Yes! Lol... I usually take half the house too but guess I have gotten lazy. And I usually take charcoal with me wherever I go. But forgot this time. Like you, I think this maybe my last trip with hubby :( Oh the days where you could grab a bag, throw some things in it, and be on your way! It's quite exhausting now.
And you're so right too about things we used to take BL that our bodies just can't handle anymore. I used to take Olive Leaf in college during the winter and loved it. Lesson learned!! But I am really learning in this journey that herbs are very powerful; we just have to be mindful and cautious with them.

I've never been one to do that...usually have carefully planned my trips..with lists, etc.

But now? Lyme takes packing for a trip to a whole new level!!!
