What to avoid when on minocycline?

On the web I found this:

be aware that antacids, calcium supplements, iron products, and laxatives containing magnesium interfere with minocycline, making it less effective. Take minocycline 1 hour before or 2 hours after antacids (including sodium bicarbonate), calcium supplements, and laxatives containing magnesium. Take minocycline 2 hours before or 3 hours after iron preparations and vitamin products that contain iron.

So does it basically mean just avoid taking it near anything that contains calcium (including diary), iron and magnesium?

that depends on the person.

Doxy was horrible for me - caused a sunburn within about 10-15 minutes..

But minocycline was fine. I have heard that from others, as well - that doxy was brutal, mino not so...but for some people it does cause sun sensitivity.
