Like literally on fire. I had a 16 ounce bottle of water but did not want to put the herb in that, as it might be diluted, so I put a few drops in my mouth and then drank water. The floor of my mouth burned for a good 30 seconds. Is this normal??

sam - put your tinctures in 1/4 cup of water - it wont burn

Most of us mix the houtt in with water and take it they way. one-two oz of water should do it.

Wow you are one brave person. I never did houtt alone.

I had a glass (like a highball glass) and I loaded up my tinctures in that. Then I put in about one ounce of water and down the hatch.

It always made me have a shiver of disgust, but I got it down.

I do drop the herbs in my mouth. houtt is like gasoline! The others aren't bad. I get green tea or similar ... but houtt... houtt is the reason I now use water, and I'm only on a couple of drops, LoL...
