worried about proper treatment of bart

Hello im seeing my llmd he did diagnose me with lymez /bart waiting to confirm with test results.hes treating me with doxy and a Zithromyosin ive been reading alot about bart seems like its treated different. Just concerned has anyone been treated like this with bart.i go back in 6wks to see him

Don't put too much into the testing for the co-infections...they're even worse than the lyme tests for false negatives.

I know pairing a macrolide with a tetracycline (zith/doxy) is mentioned in LLMD MR "TreatLyme" book, from what I've read and time on this forum...it's usually not enough.
I wonder if maybe it works on an infection caught early...

Rifampin is one that works on bartonella.

Also the fluoroquinolones - but they come with a black box warning - for risk of tendon rupture (and recently added: permanent neuropathy)
So, some LLMD's don't even prescribe them.

Bvt has a 47% effect on gram negative bugs ...in vitro ..
