Bug party at high altitude?

Just got back from a trip to Toronto and this is the 3rd time I've been in the air and my symptoms got much worse than normal. Does altitude cause the bugs to get excited, die off or something else? Anyone else have this experience and if so what bugs do you have? Thx.

I live at 4,000 feet and when I go see my Mom at sea level, I feel great. But when I go shopping, up and over the summit of 8,000 feet, I would ache the whole way and my ears would hurt.

I can shop in the valley, which is 100 feet or go up and over the hump to 6,000 and shop.

Let me tell you what happens to my water bottles. They shrink up or swell up depending on the barometric pressure changes of up to down or down to up.

If it can make this much difference in my water bottles or my sealed bags of food, imagine what it does inside of us.

I flew overseas 3 times since I got Lyme. I believe those planes cruise at a higher altitude than domestic flights, but not sure how much of a difference that would make. Either way those trips were the worst trips of my life and I have flown overseas a lot. I think the first trip kicked a lot of my symptoms off - lots of pain and twitching immediately after, which was all new to me.

Then with the second trip about a month later I was having shooting pains, vibrations like crazy, high HR, and mini blackouts shortly after landing and continuing for about a week.

The last flight 3 months later was not as intense, but I still had a lot of problems during and after - same as the second flight.

Not really sure what the cause would be, but it's definitely doing something.

tymetokilllyme - Any domestic flight over 1.5 hours is going to be at the same altitude as a Boeing or Airbus "crossing the pond". More importantly, the cabin altitude difference between 30,000 feet and 39,000 feet is negligible, we're talking in the hundreds of feet range, in other words...insignificant.
