But, I have to say that my husband really liked watching Under Our Skin. He found it to be quite informative and interesting.
But, he didn't want to watch Justin and Christa....now that was emotional!


My husband also isn't health clueless...BUT..he does "march on" and push through when he's not feeling well.

He had sore soles of his feet and joint pain for several years...never complained once. I noticed he was kind of hobbling down the stairs after getting out of bed...but he just said it was stiffness first thing in the morning.

Finally when he got fatigue issues when working 12 hour night shifts...he went to the Dr, and found out he was hypothyroid.
Soon after starting the thyroid med...he said "Wow, this stuff's like rocket fuel!"

He told me he thought that he was just getting old...and didn't really think to see a Dr. for his joint/foot pain. He was only in his early 40's.

My mother said the exact same thing. "I thought I was just getting old". No mom, you (we) have lyme.

Early 40's is way too young.
My Dad was in his mid 70's and didn't have any joint pain or stiffness; ...so not buying that in our 40's or 50's we should have pain...
Three years ago...I had no pain...no stiffness....was biking, playing tennis, and had taken up running a few years earlier.
Pain is a sign something is wrong...not normal.....that's my story and i'm sticking to it.

I dont think my "mom" can hear me six feet under the ground, but I try every memorial day and birthday.

hahaha, I hope you got some sleep girlie.

Though there's no 100% test result that says she has lyme (unlike me, Igenex positive), I've "clinically" diagnosed her with lyme, yes. On the initial onset she had very lymie symptoms. Lost a lot of weight and muscle, aged further. She has recovered a lot but still has bad arthritis in her hands, a bum knee, chronic fatigue, digestive issues.

My mom knows I have lyme via test results and we kind of spoken about her most likely having lyme as well, but didn't get in depth about it. Basically my mom got ill. Then a year later me, my sister, and my nephew visited her home and all got ill at the same time. With that said there's no way I have lyme and they ALL don't . However I'm the only one with the actual test results proving it.

But yes in one of our conversations she said the exact quote "I didn't know what was happening, I thought I was just getting old"

Both of you were sleep walking/typing when you posted

I slept 9 hrs. It was good.

boooo stop bragging. I got like 4 hours, my fault though. I didn't follow my usual delicate sleep patterns last night. The days of just be able to crash are long gone. With lyme I have to have a who nightly ritual to even have a shot of 8 hours

My brain like the 9 hours, but my aching body gets stiffer from sleeping that long. Thats one way I can measure my muscle healing. I take a few supps (mag too) and foam role body a few min before bed.

For the last year, my body likes 6 hrs, then I'm brain dead though.

Before that, I dont know since I layed awake/drifting at night like so many here for many years.
