What and how often do you get your bloodwork checked (to monitor after lyme and lyme treatment)?

Just background: My family and I have an acute case of Lyme due to a recent tick bites/exposure in August 2016. We were treated with antibiotics. The kids seem fine but I personally have some lingering symptoms. I have been taking longer term antibiotics and I am strongly considering asking for a round of Bart antibiotics since I sometimes suspect that could be the reason for my lingering symptoms.

I'd like to supplement our healing with some herbals - looking into Buhner as well as Beyond Balance.

I have had in the past had elevated liver enzymes. I have seen a hematologist about it and he determined that it was only mildly elevated and I may just have a higher baseline than others.

Of course, I'm concerned that the antibiotic use going on 3 plus months as well as the herbals could further elevate my liver enzymes.

Aside from the liver enzymes, what should I ask my PCP or LLMD to test? I notice long-time posters mentioning various other factors in bloodwork. I just want to know what I should look for that might give me clues as to co-infections and whether or not the lyme and/or lyme treatment caused some other imbalances.

Also, how often do you get bloodworm to get these things checked?

Didn't explain. I'm in Canada - so no LLMD"s to treat...we see LLND's. But, if I get lab work through my LLND, it costs me...where it is free if and MD requests it.
That's why my LLND emailed my GP (MD) to send me for monthly testing.


My LLND has had me test my hormone levels in addition to my monthly tests...but that is a private lab and would cost me out of pocket no matter who ordered the tests. (Only did the hormone tests once so far - in two years of treatment)
