How does Bart grow/cycle?

Dr shaller feels that bart is the main infection and others are coinfections ...bart is a intercellular multi flagellan gram negative proteobacterium ...which means it can hide inside cells ,has many tails ,and is hard to kill...im teading buhner book on it now ...

i just did the dna connexions test and it told be what species i had ..no doc needed ..very worth it ..

i believe it replicates every few days rather than 21 days like borrelia ..still too slow to showbup in regular culture ...my quest came out negative because they tested only for bart hensale..which is a nice bart ..my bart ate my nerves ..and only through much treatment and nurishment has the twitching subsided .

Thank you. Doubtful I can handle Houtt yet, based on what I have read here. What is the test that I ask for from DNA Connection? I call them and ask them to send me a Bart test then I take said test to a lab? Sorry, more confusion.

So you treated with abx. bee venom and herbals?

It's similar to the one I did here in Ontario, Canada...but I did blood and urine $125 for each 'infection'.

Bacteria are living organisms so they "reproduce" not replicate. Viruses (which are not technically living organisms) "replicate".

Anywho, you should get Stephen Buhner's books. You can get most of them on Kindle. It will answer so many of your questions about herbs.

huddie -all good ...his books are a bit dry ..but ya in a year i have learned apitherapy ,herbalism ,iv abx ,rife, functional medicine ,parasites etc etc ,...christie spent 320k in 4.5 years to get well! ..treating proto was the last straw...i may need to refinace to afford treatment. ..lol..

i just made a decoction with houttynia ,where both amount and boil time can determine strength. .maybe finding sweet spot like that would work for you both..?

I knew i had bart too..but it was dna connex that let me know it was bacciliformis and yes that does have a higher mortality rate ..

most docs just treat all three...and release you when all drugs are exausted ...or you are ..

Zithro may 'stun' the bartonella...but usually bigger guns are needed.

Originally before diagnosis I did a couple months of Buhner lyme herbals.

Then I added doxy to it...(GP prescribed it)

When I went to my first LLND appt., he told me to stop everything...and then I went on a different antibiotic.

Several months after being on only antibiotics for lyme, I added back in some Buhner herbs.

If you see my signature line...it has all my protocols up to Aug, 2015.

After that time, I've been continuing to treat bartonella with either Rif and mino or Rif and biaxin.
Also several months of Buhner bart herbs...and a few months of Buhner babs herbs...with the bart antibiotics.

....and several rounds of Artemisinin for Babesia starting in May, this year.

Please try to remember that there are many people walking around with asymptomatic infections - their immune system is taking care of things.

Even the CDC acknowledges this on their website in regards to Babesia and Bartonella:

Since we are all infected and are dealing with symptoms, the best we can do is stop the cytokine cascade (inflammation), rebuild the parts of the body under attack, remodulate the immune system (so it can keep the bugs in check) and help the immune system with the killing.

Try not to worry so much about what the bugs are doing and instead focus on making your body inhospitable to them.

It's unrealistic to think we'll be able to kill every last organism. Just as many of us have the chicken pox virus lying dormant in our bodies, that's the goal for the tick borne infections.
