My Labcorp results for Lyme were negative. Does it make a big difference to get the Igenex testing?

While using Igenex does "guarantee" a positive result, there is a much better chance of a positive when using them for testing. This is because they not only give the test the time it needs (Lyme reproduces a lot slower than most bacteria), but they use the proper testing medium as well for Lyme.

There is no perfect 100% testing for lyme. Igenex is generally considered by the lyme community to be the most accurate and so many of us recommend them.

I was negative by Quest Lab and positive for Igenex.

1000Daisies - Did you do this on your own...or did your LLMD suggest Advanced Labs?

...and is it perhaps a newer testing facility...that people just aren't aware of yet?


I do know that several Canadian LL Dr.'s are now recommending/using Armin labs. (Eli spot)



Whichever one is chosen out of these others mentioned ...it's likely to be a better choice than LabCorp.

1000 daisies what was the cost and how did you get it? was it through MD or did you get it and take it to md?

Yes I was negative for both tests as well. If I were to do it again it would probably be advanced lab. But I don't think I will unless I really need to.
