Anyone Have High Eosinophils?

So something new and unusual came up on my monthly blood work.

Besides my red blood cell count tanking, I suddenly am VERY high in Eosinophils.

In fact, my eosinophil count is 8x higher than the top end range of "normal".

Has anyone ever had anything like this?
Wikipedia tells me that one of the most common causes is parasitic infection, and I did just start Alinina... hmm.

Scary stuff, but interesting... hoping some others have had a similar experience.

I've had it come back slightly over range once. If I recall right, it can indicate parasites/protozoa or even allergies. My highish level was after tinidazole but also during allergy season.

Ah I did just start tinidazole... could have something to do with it.

Thanks for the link Traveler. I don't think I have any food allergies, and I don't feel different than I normally do.

Will have to think about some more parasitic treatments.

Hopefully it will even out after a bit. Very scary though to see the flags on bloodwork.

Yes, but a little less scary when it's your white blood cells kicking into gear. Now if only they'd stop being lazy and actually kill something!
