Hello, i got my igenix test results back and would like to know if anyone has rmsf, do you have to be retested every certain amount of months to see if the titre stays low, for the rest of your life, there is not much info on rmsf, could it increase and come back, my doctor will explain to me everything the next visit. I also had a positive igm band 39 lyme and 3o with intensity 1. and RMSF 160, alot to understand hopefully its ok.

Is your rmsf igg or igm? I am positive on igg. It appears my immune system handled it or the abx I have done thus far have. My titer is just above positive. I also have Lyme.

I was CDC positive for RMSF- IgM and IgG - as well as for Lyme in 2007. I healed several of the "lesser" talked about tick borne infections during treatments for Lyme, Bartonella and Babesia.

I've not heard of it coming back/relapsing like Lyme does. I've also not had it return.

thank you for responding my titre was for igg rmsf,160, i have bands 39,30 and 41 igm for lyme also, my dr. has me treating for both lyme and rocky, for 8 wks and then see what happens from there. I have been using Abar with cats claw, works pretty good, considering sida acuta, and other herbs when finished with antibiotics.

"Have to"? No, I did want to be retested earlier this Spring but my Internist Dr. just gave me a funny look that said no.

I tested CDC positive Spring of 2015. I am pretty sure I've had it since the early 90's, and Lyme since mid 80's.
I am still very symptomatic even after 6ish months of abx. Which wasn't done correctly.

I really wanted to have something in hand to prove to other 'agencies' that I still have it.
I'm not able to use an LLMD, so if you are, by all means take advantage of whatever every bit of info you can get about yourself.

I'm not sure about the idea about some kinds of positives mean it's there, but an old exposure/infection and not a threat.

It *should* always show on IGG bc your body should always make antibodies if you had it. There's no way to know for sure if it's a problem but if your titer is still really high I would suspect. They are supppsed to come down to a more regulare positive.
