Has anyone here had prolotherapy & did it help?

I did prolotherapy injections w/ozone today. It's supposed to help relieve muscle/ligament pain due to stiffness and tight muscles, but I'm so sore at all the injection sights(which is normal)...

Perhaps it takes time to heal the damaged ligaments?!

I have done my shoulder and back and herxed ..it kills bugs and caused a healing reactio . ..my shoulders are slightly less crunchy with many bee stings and and 4 injections later gunna do one more ...

mcspike - I know someone who did one or two treatments...and she said it really hurt...but after she had almost full range of motion back in her right arm (it was previously stiff) She did not have lyme (not that she or I know of anyway)

She couldn't afford to continue - they were all out of pocket - I think $100 each.

I have thought about neuro prolotherapy - which is similar...but is targeting the nerves.

I'm chicken .... don't like the idea of someone injecting me with 'stuff'.
