My LLND appt. - your opinions...

This is the second time I've seen her.

So, I have agreed to do the LDI. But, our appointment ran over and instead of doing it via injection, she gave me the serum to put under my tongue. (to take home)

We discussed what protocols I've done, and I told her I hadn't done Bactrim yet. (I read about the Steven Johnson syndrome risk...and it freaked me out)

So, she wants me to take azithromycin and bactrim daily for a week.
Then take the LDI.
then one more week of Azithro and bactrim.

then 5 weeks off and see her again - then I will get another LDI.


I am surprised about being on the abx when taking the LDI....is this the way it's usually done? (I should start a new thread)

*** I told her I had not been on Flucanazole...and her eyebrows raised....and she wants me to take that as well - daily for the two weeks I'm on abx...and then continue once a week after that.

I'm also concerned about the fact that I will be starting the Flucanazole, bactrim, azith all together.

I'm thinking I will start with the flucanazole - wait a couple days...add in the bactrim...wait a few days add in the aziththro.

That means I will only be off abx for 4 weeks when I go see her for my next LDI dose...

Slow phase in waiting a few days sound like a plan... go Girlie

What I do like about her: She is very attentive...and seems to be genuinely concerned and wanting to do her best to get me well.

What I don't like: She has me on Bactrim (NOT DS) - one tablet twice daily
I think that is half dose of what most people take for lyme.

She said it was because of the flucanazole...it can raise the bactrim dose. She phoned her Pharmacist while I was there...and he confirmed that I shouldn't be on the DS with flucanazole.

She said she is not permitted to prescribe Rifabutin...only MD's can here...not ND's.

(that was a disappointment...as I had that in my backup plan)

Yes you can do LDI and antibiotics. And there are 2 ways to give LDI. Injection and sublingual. I was told by my doctor that sublingual is how Dr. Ty Vincent typically gives it to his patients.

I hope you do well. I had a couple of good days after my first one for EBV and I'm looking forward to doing it for mycoplasma and additional viruses. I think I'll start that next week.

I would be inclined to do the LDI a week before starting the abx. That way you can see the reaction clearly. Those are 2 drugs that you never took before, not a good idea to start all at once. The hardest part of LDI is deciphering your core dose.

Bactrim has helped some people ..not i ...do you have a sulferation gene ?. It boiled my blood and chased something ...the diflucan can knock back yeast and has an effect on the c450 of lyme making it more succeprable to abx ...as tb666 said godspeed ..if it doesnt feel right dont push i made that mistake and im not the same ...

What is Flucanazole for?

Maybe your LLND thought to attack bacteria very strongly, and because of that gave you so many new abx?

Flucanazole is for yeast (Candida)

I haven't been on it...just did some Nystatin.
She thinks with all the abx I've been on...I should do a round of Flucanazole.

Well, we were going through the protocols I've done...and I mentioned I've never done Bactrim and was only on azithromycin for a few weeks....beginning of my treatment.

So, she decided to prescribe it...
But, it's one I've been 'scared' to try....mainly because of the Steven Johnson syndrome.

I get it. We're all on that same, very crowded, tight rope! May we all make it across to good health.

I think ot has to do with the dilution ..homeopathy is like 1/100000 at 100c and ldi is more like alergy desensitization ..it is used after treat8ng to modulate the immune response ...some it work some not ...

bactrim ..first day felt amazing ,disassembled a car .second da you i could hear again in my half deaf ear .felt weird eapecially in the sun ..3rd day burning in chest pain in kidneys ,chest pain ,felt like a fog had entered my brain ...had on a boat feeling while standing ...pushed thru to day 10...lost calloses ,all scars reappeared ,slifht slough of skin, site specific discoloration and muscle wasting ,livedo reticulitis ,one nurse thought mild sjs...but i know i have a vasculitis which could be the bugs or the drug ....i spent 6 months 33 doc trying to figure out what the **** happened .another nurse who had als said oh hunny you have lyme then..found lyme in a microscope after id doc said wb was a false positive ...trying to understand if it killed the nerves ,maybe porphia or liver got broken ..i still dont know kind feel like im dying ...i was mostly human before that working 40 hrs littlw dizzyness joint pain etcetc ..now having trouble in cosco...

You have reduced your pathogrn load ..rikky loved it ...u will be ok....im sure i was just a lucky one....heck i am thinking of taking levaquin...
