Is he or any of you on a dosage that can be backed up an amount? Or is he just starting out?

If he were my child I'd stop the cat's claw a day and see what happens, and then the next day if it's gone, try a smaller dose and see how that does.

I don't know about cat's claw without doing what you did, google. I've not used it myself, yet.

While I didn't get a headache with any herb, I'd be inclined to follow julymorning's advice if I did.

My head got really bad on Cat's Claw at 1/2 tsp 3x daily (powder).

I seemed to be not too bad at 1/4 tsp, and fine at 1/8 tsp, so I brought the dosage down to that range for a while. It was another month or so at the lower dosage before I could start to bring it back up without any terrible head pain. I'm now at 1 tsp with no side effects.

Buhner says that if you have low blood pressure, to be careful using this herb because it's hypotensive - it can lower the blood pressure even further.
