MTHFR- homozygous for A1298C

Hi all,

A while ago I had one of those genetic tests done that showed I am homozygous for A1298C.

My LLMD ordered some bloodwork, and that showed up again: mthfr, dna analysis Result: A1298C/A1298C

Anyone else have this? If so, anything that you have found helps you (Supplements, etc)?

I found several previous threads about A1298C in our custom search bar at the top by typing it in there with supplements.

You could try that if no one with personal knowledge sees this.

Don't just start taking a lot of vitamins without some research. Its a slow process to up your methylation. Lots of detox issues with that snp.

It depends what you other genes are. What is your CBS status?

I'm hetero A1298C.
