Doxy & Epsom Salt Baths

Hey There - I've been stalking around on here for the last couple of months getting lots of great support from all of you, and tonight I have my first question...

I'm going to start doxy tomorrow and one of my favorite new hobbies as a result of lyme disease is epsom salt baths. However, it's my understanding that magnesium can diminish the impact of doxy - does that mean that I need to space out the amount of time between a doxy dose and an epsom salt bath?

Please let me know if you have any insight. Thanks!

If taking magnesium is the same and soaking in the epsom salt bath, the recommendation on here suggested one hour before taking the doxy or 2 hours after.

I typed Magnesium and doxy in our search function and found previous thread discussions about it.

There is quite a breakdown in our intro where I got that link on various detox methods, including epsom salt baths, I saw no mention of cautions, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's not something you shouldn't be concerned about. I really urge you to read our intro, if you haven't already.
Questioning is the best way to learn.

Since magnesium is absorbed through the skin, I agree with julymorning - space out the doxy with your baths...by a couple of hours.

Welcome! And as I've just learned, make sure you take your doxy with some food! It has been burning my stomach quite badly!

And when you take doxy, stand up for the first 10-15 minutes, don't lay down. If you sit, sit up straight and don't slouch.

I do that with all my abx.
