I've been such a space cadet lately and it's driving me nuts. I feel like an idiot when I'm just standing there struggling to say what I mean. Or like the other day, sending emails to the wrong person...so embarrassing! Thankfully it was just something about my son's piano lessons but the gal I sent the email to was I'm sure confused although she tried to help. LOL! I didn't notice I had emailed the wrong person until a few emails into the dang thread! And it just happens to be a woman I've had a run in with before, picture a migraine induced snarky email. UGH!!! I can only laugh at myself! Lyme is a humbling disease. I feel like this particular problem is getting worse now that I'm actually treating it.

it will clear - eventually - is my hope for you! My cognitive issues have been flaring of late - so I can empathize. For sure! Hang in there. How is your treatment going?

ah yes, the lyme brain. I remember times when I was at work helping people and I was struggling. It was like the harder I tried the worse it got.

I had to pretend I had to be "right back". It gave me time to settle my brain down, sift through the fog a little bit and re-gathering my cognitive bearings.

It's like you have to shake it off.

Boy did I have lyme brain. I could not get a complete sentence out.

Hubby went for a walk and he came home and said he saw John on the road and he said he stood there talking to him and could not remember his name through the entire conversation. I feel for those with lyme brain. It is a scary debilitating feeling. Thank goodness it goes away.

^^ very true thanks god thats pretty much gone...but I still feel there may be something that is still gone...

it's the anxiety now that's still bad for me..an abnormal functioning immune system that is.

I'm attacking it and am focusing on the right herbs as possible.

Thanks everyone! I feel like I've been on antibiotics for a month but I looked and I haven't even been on them two weeks.. ha! I'm quite nauseous today. I remember that two weeks in to my herbs treatment I threw up a lot and tonight I spent a good solid chunk of time dry heaving. I have to pull it together because right now we are headed to a walk through nativity with my kids and parents. Ugh! Timing!

I got so sick with antibiotics. I dry heaved a lot. One of the reasons I moved on to herbs.

I'm so very sorry you are dealing with this!! You can try some ginger tea to help with the nausea, drink it 3 times a day. Fresh ginger is best, but in a pinch, dry ginger (cooking spice) can be used.

You can also try increasing your detoxing if your brain issues are getting worse at this point. It would be happening because the toxins are starting to build up. Detoxing should ease that up, although you may need to use binders as well.

Hang in there!! When I was at my worst, there were times where my hubby would talk to me, and I swear he was talking in Chinese or something! His words were totally foreign to me. I would try to not email people because I would continually send it to the wrong person, and so much more. Hang in there!!
