Huge lymph nodes (herx or coinfection)

Hi, so to get to the point I have these recurring lymph node episodes
They swell up so huge on the back of my head, neck and notj sides of my face. They turn into necrotized scaley lesions and then die down.

This seems to accompany neurological pain like tremors, neuropathy tingling etc.

The strange thing is they only seem to occur when taking appropriate treatment for Borrelia. [postive for ospc osp17 and 41 or afzeli] i'm pcr and seronegative for babesia and bartonella etc and pcr postive for rickketsia.

The lymp nodes swell up like golf balls and leak clear fliuds.

Question is has anyone had severe lymph node swelling and leaking while treating borrelia?

Azithromycin and cipro have assisted in the lymphadenopathy in the past within days but dont seem effective, whether they kill something bacterial or they have some anti inflammatory effect like cytokine reduction is unknown to me.

I hate to think I have bartonella and if I did I tool rifampcin and cipro for five months for TB which turned out to be "lyme".

Anyone else in this predicament?

yeah, try amoxicillin or a similar penicillin antibiotic. bicillin injections are heavenly for lymph nodes

does not matter what you think you have, all these infections are similar and can affect the lymph nodes badly.

then, u can reactivate your EBV due to poor immune function, and you know, EBV causes mono, and then again lymph nodes go nuts....

any of these can be the culprit, or all of them at the same time. does not matter, hit them with abx, if the combo does not work, talk to your LLMD to change it.

they get swollen while treatment because u are herxing, the darn borrelia goes straight at the lymph nodes and stays there (see article above about borrelia) and ofc when u take abx it starts dying, pieces of it floating all over in your lymph node, creates a huge immune response, your B cells in your node expand massively and the inflammation and war creates pus.

it does not hurt to run an ultrasound of the nodes to rule out more morbid causes of swelling.

as far as herbs are concerned, Red Root is very good for lymph system, it does something to the nodes and eases swelling. nobody knows what exactly, nobody cared to write an article about it ... so you could try that, also probably in your case and given the severity, it would be advisable to take some ibuprofen some antiinflamatory drugs, just to contain the reaction a bit ...

Have you tried Lymph node massage? I do it frequently.

It helps with pressure headaches, which I am never sure are related to sinus pressure or Lyme infection or a combination of both. I will also do it in the mornings when my head feels like it will explode and the glands in my neck are swollen.
