I realize this is an adult subject and this seems to be an adult board. The subject says it all.

Excitement and or climax seems to send me into or towards POTS like symptoms. This is new over the last few months and was never an issue.

Who has experienced it, and what helped most?

Alright. I'm not a guy, and there may be a difference, but having not had this recently, I have to ask if this was with full body movement, or mostly still. (recipient mode if you will.)

I can remember quite vividly back when I was 'active', that upon rising I had POTS. Dizzy even. I had to sit still for a bit or risk falling.

I do not get that with less overall movement.

Still.

I can't really figure it out. It came out of nowhere and terrifies me now.

Seems to have nothing to do with standing or anything else.

It may be POTS, but all reports of that are going from prone to upright. I don't think that the orgasm itself is causing it, unless you're out of breath.

Hopefully some of they male... um, readers here will respond helpfully.

(I nearly put two very common words together there, and due to the topic, it was a pun, and I didn't think it would be kind of me to start laughing due to my usual grade school humor).

It's really orgasm or excitement seems to create unusual heart pounding and near syncopation feeling. All still.

I notice a little bit of postural stuff but not as much.

By the way, how fast would you say your hb was going? Tachy is anything over 100, but with sexual activity it goes up much higher and that is normal. If you're very concerned you can ask your Dr. about referring you to a cardiologist so that you can wear a Holter monitor for awhile. Be sure to document whatever activities you have when you feel it speeding up like that.

Not sure. Next time I'll check.

Before I started Rifampin it was accompanied by falling feelings in my brain and sort of adrenal stuff. That seems to have gone away and now it's just lightheaded and heart pounding.

I'm going to pop into a cardiologist Monday in NYC. I'm at my deductive for the Year so why not!

Could the syncope feeling (feeling like almost passing out) be from a lack of blood in the brain, if you know what I mean.

I was getting a sneezing reaction for a while after and blood pressure is regulated via hormones ocytocin testosterone ,dopamine a lot is at play ...i would try high salt intake with chewing some raw licorice root (close to aldosterone )anf see if it helps with ginko ..

the dizzyness has been happening to me with looking at far objucts then close .so optic nerve ?..i always though balance was a inner ear thing but its probably like smell where tast is involved ...dystautonmia sucks ...no sugar no booze no loud music no 3d movies and no sex ...these bugs gotta go
