Has anyone tried this? Some person I know who had Powassan Virus sp.? recommended it. Is it worth trying? If not then what enzymes do you recommend for Candida.

I haven't tried it - but for Candida I used grapefruit seed extract and capryl and ate real clean. Depends on how serious the Candida overgrowth is. They adapt, so it is advisable to switch it up.

I copied this from Pirouette's post in the NTL thread on Yeast/Fungal infections:

- Bragg's Mother apple cider vinegar
- Alkaline foods and drinks
- virgin coconut oil
- bitters herbs/tinctures
- raw garlic,
- Caprylic acid
- Grapefruit seed extract
- Olive leaf extract
- Pau d’arco
- xylitol (titrate slowly--high doses cause cramping/gas/diarrhea)

She mentioned rotating them.

oh thank you multifacetedme and Girlie!!

I get burning sensation on face when I use coconut oil after a few minutes. Maybe its a reaction that its killing something off

Have you tried eating the coconut oil?

Or how about oil pulling?

I eat at least 1TBSP per day.

I will try to eat it every day now. I used to cook with coconut flour, used to make 4 minute coconut flour muffins in microwave and fudge using coconut oil, but then this year happened. Seems i have to get back to what I used to do.

Pre-lyme when I was baking for my son (who has Celiac) - I discovered coconut flour...and it has such a good 'feel ' to it...really made a difference when I baked cupcakes...not as dry as the rice flours.

Same here, I was looking for an alternative to wheat(gut issues) and I had tried rice flour but never really liked it either. Coconut flour was just right and everyone who tried the muffins couldn't believe they were so easy to make and so healthy.

That could be an allergic reaction so be careful and monitor it. I cannot use coconut oil I found out while trying to treat EBV.
