Well guys, I am back. I was on the Cowden protocol for about 8 months and thought I was ok enough to get off it. In the course of the past three months, a lot of weird symptoms have resurfaced. I got a nasty cold and cough and had that for about 3 weeks and am left with chronic cough and post nasal drip. I went to the ENT and she said that that was all it was. But I have also had an x-ray for chronic hip pain and the results came back as "non remarkable". My nails have been peeling and I am having trouble concentrating, so my guess is that the Lyme or whatever else has tagged along with it is back. I am starting the Cowden protocol again to see if I can stop coughing. What I am wondering is, did the Cowden protocol just keep the symptoms at bay or can it actually get rid of this bug? If I have to stay on the protocol forever, I guess that will have to do. Just wondering what anyone else thinks about this. And if anyone has a suggestion about the chronic cough, I will take that too.
Thanks
