Nutritional Yeast: The Antiviral, Antibacterial Immune-Booster

I'm always checking stuff out. Well a friend said she had some popcorn and she loves nutritional yeast on it. I am a salt lover so I dismissed her comment.

In the health food store, I happened upon Bragg's nutritional yeast. I am a huge fan of the entire Bragg's line, so I stopped and read the container. I then immediately put it in my shopping cart.

Not a bad taste at all. Hubby says it is a little cheesy tasting on his scrambled eggs. I love it sprinkled on my steamed broccoli. So, now we have another staple at our house.

Is this ok to take with Candida?

I was using Saccharomyces boulardii as I had heard it will combat candida but was having the tingling sensation hours after using it. I l looked deeper into it and apparently although very rare there have been about 60 cases of fungemia from exposure to this. People with very weakened immune systems and infants were susceptible.
Its also known to cause constipation as it is used as a diarrhea treatment for c diff. Constipation is bad when trying to clear the body of toxins.
Just see how your body responds to it and adjust accordingly if necessary. I am going to avoid all yeasts.
