I was always wondering whether there were good herbal binding agents so that was cool. Comparing Lyme toxins to botulinum toxin is deceptive though. Endotoxins are not true "toxins" in the classical sense. They are not generally produced to cause disease by interfering with biochemical processes but rather confer a range of functions such as membrane stability, phage interactions etc. They are simply the parts of the microorganism that are important to survival and thus highly conserved and readily detected by the immune system to mount inflammatory responses. In other words the features of the bacteria the immune system senses like we might sense opposable thumbs on a human. I don't mean to split hairs but if you want to maintain credibility in this crazy medical climate it's helpful to not compare endotoxins to botulism which is one of the most toxic substances known to man. It gives docs a reason to roll eyes
