Thanks Trav/Rikky.
Yes, from what I've read those nasty keets and co-infections love weak spots. Since I had surgery...whether I had lyme before or after, would it be accurate to assume they are hiding in my joints/surgical sites/scar tissue? If they were, would this cause it to be so weak and inflamed that I could not pursue weight lifting right now, even body weight exercises?
Rikky- let me know how CBD oil goes, I've tried several brands with no results but that does not mean it won't work for you.
I currently take turmeric amongst other therapies.
I think so, yes. I continue to have inflammation and even swelling in my right upper arm that was reconstructed in 2014.
And yes too on the Lyme and co infections causing muscle loss and weakness despite continued weight lifting. I've been toting and carrying 50 lb bags of horse feed and hay, etc., for nearly all of my adult life and I experienced a varying degrees of decrease in strength in the last 32 years, to severe difficult with 10 lbs of weight now, and 5 depending on what kind of grip I can get on it.
Stretching bands would undoubtedly help if levels are increased gradually.
