Good Morning!

Yesterday my order for Gou Teng arrived. Since it was powder and not tincture like Buhner are suggests, I guessed at the measure and looked up an older post.

I am curious, does anyone else have experience with taking the powder? I am guessing it is working quite well since I have a giant headache this morning (I did two of the six doses yesterday).

Those of you taking Gou Teng, I'd love to hear your experiences. My
memory was getting so bad, when reading through the Protocol my husband said "you should get that" lol. I used to have the official memory in our family. Entire events can be erased from my brain. I could take a lie detector test and pass. Then the memory will surface again. It was bad like this before I was on IV rocephin almost 10 years ago.

Overall on Buhners, my muscle knots and joint issues are much improved. Just wondering about the neuro Lyme improvement. Your thoughts and commend are appreciated. Thanks

It gave me a headache when I started it too.

I started at 1/4 tsp and over time worked up to 1 tsp.

Can't say it's given me any improvement yet though.

Thank you for responding. And Yes I know there are other posts. I did a search yesterday and posted on one of them. I started a new post to see if someone would respond if it wasn't an older post.

Yup, using the powder, 1 tsp 3x daily.

I've been taking Gou Teng tincture for quite some time now (I started it in August 2015) and can't say I noticed anything specific to the particular herb. I was taking Gou Teng along with all of the other herbs in Buhner's Lyme, Babesia and Bartonella protocols.

However, when I finally consulted a Buhner-recommended herbalist in August of last year, I was advised to stop many of the herbs I was taking. I was also advised to continue with certain herbs (Gou Teng being one of them) in larger doses taken 4x daily.

Before I consulted the herbalist, I'd been stuck at 99% (not bad I know but I had no symptoms before the tick bites). The new protocol brought me to 99.5% and subsequent tweaking of my own seems to be closing the gap.

While I was taking the maximum doses listed in Buhner's books, I realized I was ignoring his words about each of us finding our optimal dose. He mentions 250 lb. men being leveled by 5 drops and small women (such as myself) being able to take 1 tbls without ill effect.

If you are not herxing on your current doses, I suggest slowly experimenting with larger doses....or at least adding another dosing time.
