Hi all,

After 18 month of orals for lyme (tested twice for coinfections that test neg and I've never had symptoms rated to any coinfections), I started Cowden protocol a week ago.

The first three days were primarily detoxing with lots of water and detox herbs, nothing changed.

Day 4 was OK. Started introducing the antimicrobials,

Day 5 was horrible! Flat on my back, horrible head buzzing. Headache. Extreme exhaustion.

Day 6 was a bit better. Actually did a bit of nothing.😐

Day 7. What A Difference A Day Makes. I slept well last night or at least better than I have in six months. I'm actually sitting up doing what I'm doing and doing some basic chores. My head buzz is all but gone, for the first time in 6 months!
I have no headache. I am still kind of lethargic but what the heck it's only day 7.

I found a place online to get deep discounts for the rest of the months, so I'm going to stay with it. So far so good....It is my intention to post progress frequently if anyone is interested. Wishing you all a special blessing today.

It's lovingourguts.com. the updated code I got from nutramedix is TAF17. If appears to be an affiliate link that is tied to nutramedix. I've had no conversation with the affiliate but she will appreciate the points I'm sure. When you check out it gives you an additional 25 percent discount. Sounds great. I hope you continue to reap the benefits of the protocol.

I like Cowden's herbs. I've always taken the houttuynia, but I recently purchased the samento, banderol, and cumunda on the nutramedix site. They also give you discounts and freebies, but I'll also check out the site you provided. I'm not doing the full protocol though.

Day 8. I actually got a fair bit done. Not my usual unproductive self. I took my evening dose before dinner. I was so hungry but the chicken made me violently sick. Then a headache. Then kidney pain. I do believe I was herxin'. Got in the evening dose, so I'm still on track.In bed by 10 and up at 3!!!!! Gosh how I hate that 3am alarm iny head!

Oh no!! 3 am alarms in the head are horrible!! I've had one of those too! Fortunately, it's no longer there for me. I hope that you can silence that alarm in your head soon!

But congratulations on having a productive day!! Hang in there with the herxing and remember to detox!!
