I am so down...

The full moon affects many of us...yes, that could be contributing.

All I can suggest is to continue detoxing...and if that doesn't help...you might want to try backing down on your treatment.
Remind me - are you on antibiotics?

When I'm really sad...I let the tears flow...let it out...and I generally feel somewhat better after...for awhile.

i had that dosing, jerking awake...for a few months when Lyme first hit me...it was horrible...i'm sorry you're experiencing that now.

I have some powder mix probiotic green stuff. I have a horrible time with anything that is "allowed" such as meat and veggies. I'm on day 10 of cowdens..my gut is shot from chemo and antibiotics. I also have half a colon and half a tummy BUT my VEGF is OK so I'm told that means I don't have cancer....At least I don't have cancer...But I'd rather have cancer than this!

I have some gluten free oats maybe I'll make some of those.... This is so complicated

Hang in there Pursiankitty. I'm in the same boat, recently diagnosed and into 2.5 mos of treatment. I read this forum to give me info/hope/support and things that my llmd might not have mentioned or emphasized. This will pass and we will be in a better place.

That's good to know, but just keep in mind that the adrenal picture can change as we continue to fight these infections. I know for me, my adrenals were looking good in April of last year (saliva and blood testing), then retested blood cortisol in July and they still were doing good. Then in October, saliva and blood showed that they were going lower. Low and behold they needed help.

I've done more adrenal tests over the past 2.5 years that I care to mention, so I've definitely seen my picture change over the months. I would have never thought that I would have low adrenal function...seeing that for quite a while I had high cortisol in the am. Now completely reversed.

So just keep an eye on them...😊

Forgot to mention I did start taking cowdens adrenal support...Just in case....It up regulates or down regulates function as needed. Who thinks of this stuff?

Mucuna bean extract is a source of dopamine ..our guts dont make it anymore ...consider bvt as it helps my hopelessness on treatment days ...gotta eat to hral ..bone broth ..crock pot stews ?

I don't know if helpful but when on abx last summer, everything was making me cry. I felt like life was just not worth it. I felt like if I were not here, no one would miss me and that I was not meant to suffer like this every day. I ended up going off all drugs for two months and that just left me like toast. I switched to an herbal protocol, heavy on detox protocol.....starting three weeks with just detox things only,,,no killing bugs. I am finding that while not optimal, stuff like the ceiling fan and bath towels are not making me cry anymore.... I can sometimes start sentences with, "when I get better".........in other words, I feel hope. I had holidays where I hung out with family, cooked meals and wrapped presents. (I could not even walk across a room in the summer due to autonomic nervous system problems) I was sick like this the first time I was treated for lyme twenty four years ago,,,,lost my mind, my memory, and my will on the big combos. I had just started them and went "BIG" trying to knock this thing out. I can see now that it was the disease and the amount of drugs, the die off and not approaching it right that caused my thinking to be so terribly frightening. I believe it was the toxicity that really was messing with me. From my Lyme ND, I started with just detoxing with a really specific protocl for me... then added in a few things....now the bug killing and it is going waaaay better at least for now anyway... (the last herx made me wonder if I had alzheimers which was not fun.......) (Oh yeah I had a friend that told me that I could have ALZHEIMERS AND LYME (nice reassuring friend! with friends like that....!) If you can remember that the mood is just a symptom (not you) it might make it better. The depression is just a symptom, like a headache or a sore thumb!) IT sucks and it is really hard but it seems to me that it is just a brain symptom of this disease. When I did the detox properly, my brain got so much better, my outlook improved and I was in less neuro pain......,,,,,(oh and by the way, originally, I was stubborn and did not want to detox,,, I wanted to just go in and kill and get it over.....)For me anyway I learned lesson... (I know some people can handle the big guns. I am not one !) DETOX DETOX DETOX... I take chlorella, DETOXOSODE, pinella for brain and Jernigan anti neurotox - along with a herbs to kill my specific bugs..... I think ( I pray) its working slowly but surely, I will change it up as things progress....... HANG TIGHT,,,,

I get nausea every day too. Can't stand meat or anything greasy. I can tolerate non-acidic fruit like melons, steamed vegetables, tofu, and rice. Everything has to be plain.

The depression is a natural reaction to feeling ill all the time with no clear end date. And not being able to do anything fun. And the bugs messing up with the thinking.

Be kind to yourself. Try to find something to take your mind off it. Rest. It will get better once the parasite load decreases.

Once the infection is over/under control/remission, everything will go back to normal. Time is on your side.

For me, it was a symptom...it was in the first few months of my symptoms...that and anxiety.
