Bruising easily

Hi everyone. I became infected with Lyme 4 summers ago. My PCP did not give me Abx longer than 6 weeks and I became quite ill over the past few years. I did start buhner protocol after a few months but it did not seem to do a whole lot. I am now seeing a Naturopath but she said it could take a long time for remission if I even get there.

Lately I am bruising very easily. If I grab a door handle my hand and fingers bruise. I am seeing my ND next week and will mention this. She gave me extensive blood tests in the Summer and found Babesia, Mycoplasma and gave me a clinical diagnosis of Chronic Lyme and Bart as well

Any ideas why I am bruising so easily. I'm 58 and a single dad.

I believe it's Bartonella is what makes me bruise the most. This is because it's hard on vascular integrity, meaning that the inside walls of the veins are inflamed so it take little to cause a small break and then resultant blood seepage will result in a bruise.

I did look up a few of your posts, and I was wondering how many of the Green Dragon pills you were taking daily? I didn't see that mentioned. The other thing is that you may have needed higher dosages than you were getting - Buhner repeatedly states that his protocol dosages are an average - some people need more and some people need less.

Also, as Tickbite said, some herbs will actually thin the blood, so you will want to evaluate if you really need those or not.
