Well in his defense, my llmd spoke of the same toxins in our world. With lyme you can become weak and many things that never bothered you before can bother you now.
I could not do sugars or pastas or pizza - which is how I chose my moniker. Molds got to me and scents were not tolerable at all. Oh, and all of a sudden tags on clothing really bothered me. Silly weird things. So I began getting EMF's out of my bedroom (electric alarm clockS) and I had just a few scented cleaners under my kitchen sink and I gave those to the women's shelter - along with a box full of hair products.
So maybe he was warning you to watch for other things that could bother you or make you feel sicker? Or maybe he was talking about detoxing without saying that word? I'm just guessing.
You will figure it out. I do like that he is going slow. Make sure you do detox.
I really wish he had of mentioned bone broth to you.
He probably didn't mention bone broth because I mentioned it first. It has been a staple of my diet for 3 months. There are still a lot of times when I feel nauseous or just have no appetite (I've lost 40 pounds in 4 months), so I do a lot of bone broth (organic, grass-fed).
He never actually used the word detox, but he did say to drink a lot of water (I've been drinking tons of lemon water), Epsom salt baths, and saunas. He also recommended ACV or Alka Seltzer Gold. I don't really know what those are for, but I've tried ACV and just can't tolerate it. I just ordered some Alka Seltzer Gold along with the other things he suggested, so we'll try that.
I guess my biggest complaint is that he never used just plain English. He recommended these things, but he never said anything about
WHY he thinks I should do these things. He just kept saying they have this, this, and this in them. I didn't even know what this, this, and this was, let alone what they did. Hope that makes sense. I spent half my time there crying, which is not unusual for me these days. My husband was with me, but he was probably more confused than I was because he doesn't spend every waking minute researching this stuff like I do.
I'm also frustrated because I've already changed my diet, and am still sick. I've already tried IV vitamins, and am still sick. I've already tried acupuncture...still sick. I've spent ungodly amounts of money on supplements...still sick. And most of them I couldn't tolerate. I feel like he's just throwing more supplements at it and seeing what sticks. I'm running out of the patience and money for that approach. BTW, IV Vitamins and acupuncture are things he also recommends but didn't mention them to me because we already discussed how I've tried them and didn't see any results.
