I don't have any experience with those herbs but I ordered them last month.

Just sending you and your family healing wishes. You are an incredible person to be caregiver of three and sick yourself. My heart really goes out to you.

I checked our search function and yes, others have had "herxes from hell" on it. That's a quote.

See how he feels tomorrow, and when he recovers, start him back on one drop. Keep an eye on the others because it may take a few days before you get a noticable reaction out of them or they will be fine, every one's situation is different, including the children in a family.

I really feel for the children, it has to be so much harder for them to understand, when it's near impossible for us.

Oh, Daisies, I hope the kids bounce back and can continue to heal thru the herbs!! Hugs to you and the family! julymorning, you said it. I feel for us, but I sure feel for kids... they're supposed to be out running and playing and getting muddy and having a blast...

If I understand the herbs it's Red Sage and Chinese Skullcap ... I never got started with Red Sage, but I did do CH. Skullcap, and I did have to go quite slow on that one. I did herx from it.

I and hubby had no problem. We both did tinctures and went super low and slow.

I read Buhner's book incorrectly and it said to mix them together and so that is what I did. WRONG! I was so lucky not to have a reaction to one of them.

When hubby got ill, I started him on Red Sage first and about a week and a half later started him on the Skullcap. He has been on them for over a month.

PeteZa I put all my drops in one glass and add water - I mean I always test a new one drop by drop and once I know I am ok I put them all in one glass, add water and gulp down as quickly as I can. Do you mean we shouldn't be doing that ??

Yes, you can.

I'm not sure what PeteZa meant - I'm thinking the same as 1000Daisies - that she mixed the two tinctures - the entire bottles together?

Then you wouldn't be able to at some point take more of one than the other.
