A trip to the vets....

I had to release my sweet cat named dog. It was so hard but he was sicker than I even thought. He passed immediately with the injection, he was so weak.

I was at the counter doing paperwork, when I felt my pulse shoot up, then the dizziness, barely go seated before I blacked out.

The employees wanted to call 911, and I said no! I'm not going through that again!

While I sat there trying to collect my wits, an office employee sat with me. She asked me if I fainted frequently, and told her, yes lately, as I have Lyme and suspect pots.

She said, I have Lyme. She had multiple symptoms, insisted on bloodwork. She was positive.

I asked her what she had for treatment. She told me that this was an old infection, there was no way to treat it, except for the symptoms.

My heart sank, no antibiotics, herbs, detoxing, nothing. An invasive bacterial running through her body, untreated with who knows what additional co infections. Im so sad, about my kitty, and about this poor unsuspecting, trusting, young woman, willing to take the word of these "smart" professionals who are playing Russian roulette with people's lives. I'm so sad....

Did you say anything to the employee...let her know that people are treating chronic lyme disease?

I'm so very sorry for your loss. It's so hard to loose one of our babies.

I'm very happy that you got the opportunity to share with this employee though!! As you said, you just never know who you will wind up talking with! My Vets are all amazed at the things I've told them about the lack of decent testing and treatments for people.

And don't forget to point anyone needing more information to our community!! I've been toying with the idea to get something similar to business cards printed up with a bit of information about these infection, and a few web addresses, like my email and the address of this site. That way even if I'm on a tight time schedule, I can at least hand that to a person that needs it. I have high hopes that this will happen one day soon! LOL!

Do be sure to take the time to rest and treat yourself well today. That much emotional trauma will definitely mess with you for a day or two!

No...Still have 3 inside, but this sweetie was my lover pie...The doctor she saw was a GP. She had never seen a llmd. Hope she will now.

I miss my sweet tabby child. 🤐

Tabbies are the best....so affectionate and some of them get very attuned to their people's health.
My favorite, a brown tabby grandchild of my Persians is one I call "Fuzzy". We take turns trying to make each other's ills go away, she is now referred to by everyone as "Dr. Fuzz".

I swear she takes better care of me than my Internist.

Do you think your nutrition is good?

I'd say nutrition sucks however I aware of things I should be eating... I'm using protein powder alot and a prebiotic organic veggie mix that us the most awful crap I've ever eaten, but I choke it down 😜😜😜😜😜😜😝

I feel for "Little". I've learned over the years our pets have to have a form of closure too. Even my horses. If you have some article that Dog may have laid on recently put it out for Little. I may be comforting to Dog's pal.

We have a tabby named Pepper. But her nickname is....Girlie. (My husband calls both of his 'girls' Girlie)

Pepper doesn't miss our little Rusty. (The kitty that had to be euthanized last spring)

Sorry bout your kitty ...good you got to spread truth to receptionist. ...spirulina and bvt really helped my passing out episodes ...i used to see them coming with loss of peripheral vision and sparkles stars
