I 'lost' my saved draft that had success stories links in them! *UGH!!*, but here is a search I just did on the forum for success stories - we actually have quite a few, and are 'collecting' more as more people from here heal!!

Liamb, this will seem unusual to you but I've had remissions a few times lasting a few to a handful of years since first becoming infected, without direct treatment. This was somehow accomplished by being able to allow my immune system to function at it's best. That meant being able to avoid snowballing stress, along with eating healthier.
I went from zombie - totally unfunctional to full functional small retail store owner. Two separate times.
Surgeries coupled with new snowballing emotional stress knocked me back right on my butt.

2+ years and nowhere near my old self. unfortunately this is true of most people with lyme and co-infections. sure there are success stories there always are but mentally prepare yourself for a long haul you can get better its just a question on how much.

Liamb, I was just thinking, that if you are able to start more topics by putting key words of your main question or thought in the title, I think it might get more attention from the other members and more responses.
