Is rib pain without air hunger a Bart symptom?

Yes rib pain is a bartonella symptom


I get it only on my left side...

I'm starting to think that my leg muscle cramps may be bart also

My rib pain is in the front (not the back ribs) and it doesn't feel like a muscle cramp...it's hard to describe...just horrid pain...

Purrrsiankitty, is it possible you pulled a muscle in your rib area while vomiting so much?

I've done that.

But then my ribs on my right side have been hurting the last few days and I've not been vomiting, so, I guess I'm having sympathetic pains with ya!

I'm sorry you're dealing with that now. Isn't it a Lyme symptom? I do know from here and my own experience any and all soft tissue is at risk of Borrelia attack and damage and pain. You have cartilage between your ribs, as wells as thinner protective tissue (sheathing,etc) over all of it.

Yes, july, you're right - it can be a lyme symptom too.

It is also a hallmark Bartonella symptom...and for me I figure it's bart...because I did treat lyme for a year or so before starting Bart...and I recently (October) tested positive for bart.
...and recently changed the rifampin dosing to 600 once daily...and guess what? My rib pain came back...for several days...and is gone again.

And I can accept Lyme or bart but NOTHING else lol

I'm pretty sure I have Bart too, and unearthed another co-infection yesterday I'm not liking at all, but it doesn't involve rib pain.


It get's harder, rather than easier, to sort them all out, at least for me. I try not to go inspecting under strange rocks(co-infections), but sometimes things under them look all too familiar when I'm checking that darn symptom chart for others.
