Good point, OldSalty. I like the way you put that. It makes a lot of sense as to why our emotions change as much as the microbes change.
Traveler, that's what I had to do back in the day. I would run. One time I even made a punching bag. That was when the Lyme symptoms were at their worst, and I had no idea what was going on. anyway to diffuse the situation. I've gotten much better at not letting the internal anger control my external behavior. Thank goodness.
Thanks for the reassurance, julymorning. People keep telling me that the mental symptoms will go away when the infection does. That makes me feel much better.
Astroman, that's a good point too. My thyroid is not optimal I'm sure. I do get the slowing down feeling. The numbers are within range, but we could probably be dealing with revere t3 issues. I just haven't found a doctor who knew what they were doing with thyroid. Frustrating. As for the Rx junk, I wish I were off of them. They're more trouble than they're worth. But 6 years ago an ignorant Doctor put me on one, and I haven't been able to get off since.
now I have a psychiatrist treating me for bipolar, which we all know can stem from any of the infections. It just seems like a losing battle most days.
