Daisies there is a yeast free/gluten free version of the Floridax. I've used it in the past. I'm currently using dessecticated liver. I desperately need to bring up my ferritin. Just started a couple days ago.
Would you mind sharing your ferritin level? Mine is low, but I'm not sure if it's low enough to be concerned. My GP says supplement, but a LLND I saw a few months ago said not to - it wasn't low enough to be concerned. I don't have bad fatigue,NP. Last checked it was 22. Optimal is quoted as 70. And if you are a thyroid patient you really need to be between 70-90. Up until a month or so ago mine was fine, but things went south when my EBV skyrocketed again.
It's always something.
So mine was 45 last May. Retested in September and they dropped to 40.
These are the ranges that were on my results:
<15 -diagnostic of Iron deficiency
15-50 probable iron deficiency
51-100 possible iron deficiency
> 100 iron deficiency unlikely
My GP said she likes to see patients at 100.
The LLND says not so supplement - that I'm not low enough. IDK if I should or shouldn't
